AN OASIS FOR THE ARTS
Located 35 miles from downtown Los Angeles and 10 miles north of Malibu, the Greater Conejo Valley inludes the communities of Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park and portions of Calabasas.
Due to its close proximity to the "entertainment capital of the world", many of the Valley's residents work in that industry. As as a result, the region is rich in creative talent.
The primary pupose of the Conejo Valley Art Gallery is to provide a virtual, on-line "gallery" for regional fine ARTISTS and an easy way to "connect"with them by providing links to their respective websites.
The Gallery also stives to provide information and links to major fine art EVENTS that showcase, primarily, the work of artists working and living in the region. These events include the Greater Conejo Valley Open Studio Tour and the Thousand Oaks Arts Festival.
